Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Stage packaging materials, online center, for upcoming production runs.

• Check in packaging orders received from Distribution Center.

• Ensure FIFO system is strictly followed.

• Monitor production schedules for changes and react to these changes as needed.

• Ensure packaging lines are kept supplied and downtime is not a direct result of a material shortage.

• Remove and sign for finish good pallets.

• Count and remove transfer packaging materials as well as return materials.

• Assist lead operators in troubleshooting materials reconciliation issues as well as any materials problems that can arise.

• Maintain areas of responsibilities clean and organized and reduce clutter all the time.

• Communicate with oncoming shift material handlers to ensure proper pass down of information.

• Within area of responsibility, understand and comply with all safety, environmental and quality practices and procedures as outlined in organizational/departmental guidelines and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

• Minimum zero to five years related experience and/or training.
