Your Job Molex is seeking an Assistant Lab Technician to join our Signal Integrity Team. Training on the use of a network analyzer, signal integrity tools and time domain reflectometry will be provided. We are looking for someone that has an eagerness to learn. This is a development opportunity to learn skills needed to test electronic connector samples for Signal Integrity. Our Team Molex LLC is a manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and fiber optic connectivity systems. Molex offers over 100,000 products across a variety of industries, including data communications, medical, industrial, automotive and consumer electronics. What You Will Do Perform soldering or de-soldering of wires/connectors/components on PCBs Perform Signal Integrity measurements on high-speed connectors using network analyzers, Time Domain Reflectometry, Oscilloscopes Create reports from measurement data using Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel and in house software. Highlight areas of failure in any prototype and provide possible reasons for malfunctions. Organize lab and maintain archive of reports in on-line library Support Molex quality programs by following approved policies and procedures. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience with computers including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. What Will Put You Ahead Associated degree in a technical field Education or experiences focused on electrical or mechanical technology. Experience in using hand tools, electrical equipment, or doing similar job function with hands-on lab experience. For this role, we anticipate paying $30 an hour.
