As a Business Systems Analyst, your primary focus will be on advancing the company's commercial B2B initiatives, particularly in sales. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and implementing solutions that integrate analytics, mobile platforms, and UI/UX design to support and enhance our commercial goals. You will be responsible for analyzing business needs, designing impactful solutions, and aligning them with the organization's strategies. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, business stakeholders, IT, and developers, to ensure successful project execution that drives business growth and enhances customer engagement.

Our Team

Our team supports the Commercial capabilities of KAES, including Sales and Logistics. This role will report to the IT Leader and have the option to work a hybrid schedule from our Wichita, KS office.

What You Will Do

  • Partner and collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, with a primary focus on sales in a commercial B2B context. Ensure these requirements align with digital platform development and analytics solutions.
  • Using strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaborate with sales teams to optimize processes and drive customer engagement through innovative solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies that prioritize sales efforts, leveraging mobile platforms, digital tools, and analytics to maximize impact.
  • Conduct system testing and quality assurance to verify that solutions meet business needs.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on commercial applications.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in B2B markets and analytics technology.
  • Understand and maintain documentation for commercial B2B solutions, including systems and integrations.
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget, aligning with broader business objectives.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Two (2+) or more years of professional business experience
  • One (1+) or more years of experience writing business requirements, detailed designs, OR functional specifications
  • Experience in business process modeling and documentation techniques, such as Design Thinking
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Scrum

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus on commercial B2B, specifically in sales and marketing
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing project initiatives, especially those that intersect with sales, marketing, mobile, and analytics solutions
  • Knowledge of mobile application development frameworks and patterns that can be applied to sales and marketing
  • Experience in utilizing digital marketing and mobile analytics tools to inform decision-making and enhance commercial B2B strategies
  • Background in UX/UI design principles and best practices with a focus on enhancing customer experience in sales and marketing through mobile solutions
  • Experience in launching successful initiatives, including mobile applications and analytics projects, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end development process and their impact on sales and marketing efforts
  • Comprehensive understanding of analytics platforms and tools, such as Tableau, Power BI , or similar, with a strong focus on their application in commercial B2B environments to drive data-informed decision-making
  • Knowledge of mobile development platforms and tools, including iOS, Android, and React Native, emphasizing their use in creating impactful solutions within a commercial B2B context
  • Intellectual curiosity and experience with AI solutions, demonstrating a willingness to explore and integrate AI technologies into business processes.
  • Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) that include a focus on mobile and digital transformation
