POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician will work as a part of the maintenance team and will be responsible for the setup, validation, maintenance, repair and upkeep of equipment associated with production, packaging and distribution of Iatric products. This role performs technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks as assigned as well as contributes to both preventive maintenance and process improvement projects.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on high-speed non-woven converting equipment.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve update and reduce waste.
- Identify wear, misalignment and potential failure points in slitters, unwinders, and rewinders to ensure proper finished product performance.

- Conduct detailed inspection of converting equipment using precision maintenance gauges (e.g. dial indicators, micrometers, laser alignment tools)
- Mentor Level I mechanics and support training initiatives.
- Maintain clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Utilize maintenance EAM software to track all work progress and materials to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist in equipment changeovers.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)
- Vocational, technical certificate or AS degree from an accredited college in relevant studies AND 1 or more years of industrial maintenance experience OR 3 years in industrial maintenance role; upon hire will be expected to enroll in technical certification program within the 1st year of employment.
- Intermediate experience maintaining/troubleshooting machine controls systems.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and mechanical diagnostics required.
- Strong understanding of paper handling systems and tension control required.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
- A working knowledge of GMP, FDA and OSHA regulations and guidelines is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
