Purpose of the Role
The NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) Coordinator manages and oversees all NDE activities within the project to ensure that inspection work is carried out effectively, documented accurately, and meets applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. This role helps Worley deliver projects safely, sustainably, and with the highest level of technical integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule NDE activities across the project, ensuring timely completion to support construction progress.

  • Review and validate NDE procedures for compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor and track NDE results, ensuring complete documentation and traceability for project quality records.

  • Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and NDE service providers to resolve issues and maintain workflow.

  • Provide technical support to project teams by interpreting NDE results and advising on corrective actions when needed.

  • Prepare and present NDE status updates during project meetings, highlighting any concerns or trends.

  • Maintain project NDE documentation in accordance with quality management system requirements.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending process enhancements for NDE coordination and reporting.

Qualifications / Skillset

  • Technical school graduate or equivalent training in inspection, NDE, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience coordinating NDE activities on large-scale projects in the energy, chemical, or resources sector.

  • In-depth knowledge of NDE methods (RT, UT, MT, PT) and familiarity with relevant industry standards (ASME, API, AWS).

  • Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple inspection activities.

  • Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Skilled in interpreting NDE results and applying them to quality control decisions.

  • Experience using electronic systems for tracking, scheduling, and documenting inspections.

  • Commitment to Worley's values of quality, safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

  • Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
  • NCEER Certified Plus (Written or performance verified)
