Purpose of the Role

The Document Control II position is responsible for supporting the management of project documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with Worley's standards and client requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining an organized and reliable document management system that supports timely project execution and collaboration.

By maintaining accurate project records and facilitating smooth information flow, Document Control II helps Worley deliver sustainable change by ensuring that teams have the right data at the right time to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the document control function on assigned projects, ensuring adherence to Worley's standards, project specifications, and client requirements.

  • Manage the logging, revision, and distribution of project documents and drawings within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

  • Ensure all document metadata, including revision history, approval status, and distribution records, is accurately maintained.

  • Coordinate document reviews, approvals, and transmittals, ensuring traceability and timely communication across project teams.

  • Maintain accurate records of all documents and correspondence issued throughout the life of the project.

  • Provide assistance and troubleshooting for project personnel on document control processes and use of EDMS tools.

  • Generate and distribute document status reports to support project progress tracking and decision-making.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of document control processes by suggesting practical enhancements.

Qualifications / Skillset
  • Associate or technical degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in document control or a related field.

  • Relevant experience in document management within engineering, construction, energy, chemicals, or resources projects.

  • Proficiency with electronic document management systems (EDMS) and strong understanding of document control workflows.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy while handling a high volume of documentation.

  • Effective organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks in alignment with project schedules.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work under limited supervision, exercising judgment in organizing work and resolving routine issues.
