Barrios Technology has received notification that NASA has determined that it was in the best interest of the Government to integrate the requirements to support the JSC Protective Services Division (PSD) into the Consolidated Program Support Services (CPSS) Project Coordination (PC) contract, an existing MSFC contract.

The Consolidated Program Support Services (CPSS) Project Coordination (PC) contract discipline provides support to programs, projects and organizations with planning, coordinating, tracking and reporting of tasks and actions. Therefore, the Government plans to utilize the CPSS PC Contract to meet the program requirements including providing specialized Information System Security Officer (ISSO) support and technical expertise in support of JSC PSD operations, with an emphasis on EPACS/ICAM infrastructure, video surveillance systems, emergency dispatch systems, and badging/enrollment equipment.

Responsibilities

Barrios Technology has received notification that NASA has determined that it was in the best interest of the Government to integrate the requirements to support of workforce development focused challenges into the Consolidated Program Support Services (CPSS) Project Coordination (PC) contract, an existing MSFC contract.

Supporting NASA's challenges, providing advisory services, coordination assistance, logistical support for workforce development activities and professional services to provide mission support are in scope of the Consolidated Program Support Services (CPSS) Project Coordination (PC) contract. Therefore, the Government plans to utilize the CPSS PC Contract to meet the program requirements to provide support for the workforce development focused challenges NASA Student Launch (SL) challenge and the NAS Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) and associated project coordination activities for beginning October 14, 2025.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

    Minimum education and experience requirements will vary depending on position and location of work
  • All positions will require the ability to pass a National Agency Check with Investigation (NACI)

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
  • Post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol as outlined in our Drug Free Workplace policy
  • Work may involve sitting for extended periods
  • May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
  • Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary
  • Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task
  • Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)
  • Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical
  • Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
  • Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
  • This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed
