Position Summary Information






Primary Purpose
The Program Manager, Academic Affairs and Enrollment provides supervisory and strategic leadership for the Office of Academic Affairs ( OAA). This role ensures compliance with FERPA, Section 504, and HIPAA; oversees policy and data management; and serves as the communications liaison to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs ( ADAA). The Program Manager supervises the OAA staff and supports key academic operations, including registration, enrollment, scheduling, and academic policy administration.
Essential Functions
Compliance & Policy Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with FERPA, Section 504, and HIPAA in maintaining confidential data.
  • Serve as communications lead for the ADAA, guiding faculty and staff to resources and support on academic policies and procedures.
  • Manage the student handbook to ensure accuracy and timely updates.



Data Management & Reporting

  • Oversee OAA data and reporting strategy; approve dashboards and analytics.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic planning and develop special reports.
  • Provide strategic reports and communications to the ADAA on program quality improvement related to scheduling and registration.


Academic Operations & Student Support

  • Develop, publish in Canvas, and communicate course registration schedules; manage registration policies in collaboration with the ADAA.
  • Facilitate student enrollment processes and resolve issues related to registration, late adds/drops, administrative drops, and withdrawals.
  • Manage course/program approval processes, revisions, and proposals in consultation with the ADAA, and committee chairs.
  • Coordinate updates to the online academic catalog in collaboration with the Registrar's Office and other departments.
  • Manage course scheduling in Banner, ensuring accurate faculty assignments and coordination of student academic activities and assessments.


Leadership & Project Management

  • Represent OAA on committees and task forces as assigned.
  • Manage, assign, and oversee office projects, including workflow initiation, tracking, and completion.
  • Supervise administrative support staff, including onboarding, training, and timesheet approvals.
  • Work independently within School/University guidelines and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in academic administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Five (5) + years supervisory experience
  • Advanced knowledge of academic affairs operations, policy interpretation, and compliance.
  • Experience with academic systems (Banner, OnBase, LMS, SharePoint, Argos, EPAF, People Admin).
  • Experience in reporting tools, especially Power BI.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and learn new technologies.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with partner offices and stakeholders.
  • High level of energy, flexibility, and initiative.
  • Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
  • Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

Work Environment / Work Week / Travel

Hiring Range $68,640 - $75,000 per year (We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.)
