Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Director of Finance to serve as the primary business partner to our Probes Business Unit (~80% of company revenue) and to Global Sales, while also leading company-wide financial planning and forecasting processes not related to manufacturing. This role will be pivotal in driving business performance through actionable insights, executive-level reporting, and enterprise data analytics initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record as a senior business partner to a major business function, strong leadership of planning and forecasting processes, and experience in establishing and scaling data analytics capabilities. This individual will partner closely with the Senior Director of Finance for Global Manufacturing Operations to ensure full alignment across commercial and operational finance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as the lead finance partner to the Probes BU and Global Sales, providing guidance to support strategic decision-making and align financial goals with business objectives, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for growth and margin expansion.
- Deliver financial insights on revenue and market trends, pricing, customer profitability, and pipeline health.
- Partner closely with the Senior Director of Finance for Global Manufacturing Operations and the CFO to ensure end-to-end alignment across the enterprise.
Financial Planning, Modeling & Forecasting
- Serve as a key leader of the global AOP and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support P&L planning and operational execution, scenario analysis, margin initiatives, and long-range goals.
- Consolidate and present financial results and forecasts to senior leadership, distilling complex data into actionable insights.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial planning tools, methods, and timelines.
Data Analytics Leadership
- Serve as a key leader for advancing finance and enterprise analytics capabilities.
- Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable reporting and analytics platforms.
- Enable predictive and diagnostic analytics to enhance decision-making across BUs and sales.
- Mentor and upskill finance teams in data-driven analysis and visualization.
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Provide clarity and direction in complex and ambiguous situations.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration, influencing across diverse teams without direct authority.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in team development and decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience
- 5+ years of leadership responsibility.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience serving as a senior finance partner to a major business unit or function; semiconductor or advanced manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and modeling at a global scale.
- Demonstrated success in building or advancing data analytics capabilities within finance or enterprise functions.
- Strong communication and executive presence with the ability to distill complexity for senior leadership.
- Ability to thrive in a global, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
The pay range for this role in Beaverton, OR is between $181,800 and $238,560. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
