Overview

The Wealth Professional Development Associate is intended for professionals with a background in financial services who are preparing for a long-term career as a licensed financial consultant. Will work alongside established financial consultants to support client relationships, conduct financial planning and participate in business development, while receiving mentorship, structured training and support to complete necessary industry licenses (i.e. FINRA Series 7, Series 66 and state-specific life and health insurance licenses).


Responsibilities

  • Client Service - Work alongside established financial consultants to meet with clients and prospects to update client goals by leveraging financial planning Reviews investments, strategies, and goals on a regular basis to ensure effective wealth management.
  • Relationship Development - Work alongside established financial consultants to develop relationships with Bank associates, clients, and prospective clients to generate referrals and sales opportunities. Work to continue to solidify centers of influence and establish business development contacts. Serves as a brand ambassador proactively sharing our story and continuing to spread awareness among potential prospects and clients. Identifies tools or methods to enhance personal service and referral performance.
  • Training - Complete all onboarding training and activities by established deadlines. Demonstrate ability to apply knowledge through training exercises and on the job training. Earn required licenses within expected timeframe.
  • Risk Management - Ensures compliance with all applicable banking, investment, and legal regulations and policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Banking; Financial Services OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in Banking; Financial Services

Preferred Area of Experience: Business; Merchant leadershipLicense or Certification Type: Successfully obtain Series 7, 63, 65 or 66, and state-specific life and health insurance licenses RequiredSkill(s): Sales Outreach, Financial Literacy , Application of a structured sales process , Providing financial guidance and expertise
