EOE/M/F/Vets/Disabled About Us We're building products fast, but we don't want to ship bugs to our customers. That's where you come in. We're looking for a Test Engineer who's passionate about catching issues before they hit production and making sure our users get a smooth, reliable experience. You'll build automation, define test strategies, and work directly with engineers and PMs to keep quality high while we scale. What You'll Do * Design and run automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end). * Build tools and frameworks that make testing easier and faster for engineers. * Define quality standards and help the team adopt best practices. * Work closely with developers to identify edge cases and prevent regressions. * Be the voice of quality during planning, ensuring we don't cut corners. What We're Looking For * Strong experience with test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Jest, or similar). * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate tests into them. * Solid programming/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar). * Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar). * Attention to detail and a passion for finding issues before users do. * Bonus: experience with performance testing and load testing tools. A Few Things You Might Work On in the First 3-6 Months 1. Build automated regression test suites so we can release multiple times per week with confidence. 2. Set up end-to-end tests that validate real user flows in staging and production. 3. Integrate tests into CI/CD so every pull request runs against a reliable set of checks. Minimum Qualifications * 2-5 years of related experience in testing various types of software * Education: Bachelor's degree * Certifications in testing or automation frameworks (ISTQB, Selenium, Cypress) recommended but optional This is a high-impact role - you'll be the one who makes sure "move fast" doesn't turn into "break things." Your work will directly improve developer speed, product reliability, and customer trust |
