How You'll Make an Impact The Senior Business Systems Analyst (Finance) plays a pivotal role in ensuring Dudek's financial systems, including Deltek Vantagepoint (ERP), are optimized to support billing, accounting, reporting, and firmwide financial operations.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with ERP, HRIS, or CRM administration experience; a background in accounting, marketing, or professional services operations; hands-on change management chops; strong cross-functional collaboration skills; and a proven ability to drive projects that enhance systems, processes, and workflows.
The mission of the Business Operations Group is to remove friction in how work flows by delivering scalable, integrated solutions that empower our Practices and Firmwide Services teams for operational efficiency. Our strategy is about connecting people, processes, and systems, making sure we have standard approaches, trusted data, and prioritized improvements that help the entire organization.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as administrator and subject matter expert for Deltek Vantagepoint ERP, ensuring system integrity, accurate data, and actionable insights.
  • Support financial reporting, billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, and forecasting processes.
  • Partner with Finance leadership, Accounting, and Operations to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and enhance integration with related systems.
  • Lead ERP-related change management initiatives, including upgrades, data migrations, and cross-platform integrations.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to support strategic financial planning and firmwide decision-making.
  • Provide training and guidance to Finance system users to improve adoption and user confidence.
  • Act as escalation point for system issues, delivering clear resolutions and proactive improvements.
  • Mentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing practices within the Business Operations Group.
Minimum Qualificatio ns
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on power user and/or system administrator experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, billing, and accounting principles.
  • Advanced skills in reporting/analysis and ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Strong cross-functional project management and change management experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting, administering, and optimizing business systems within the environmental consulting, engineering, or professional services industry.
  • Relevant certifications such as Deltek Vantagepoint CRM Administrator Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 annually*
  • *Final agreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check prior to beginning employment.
