Your Opportunity:
Golden Heart Child Care is seeking a Child Care Giver to care for children ages 3 to 6. The Child Care Giver is part of the center's team and is responsible for meeting the needs of each individual child, treating each child with dignity and respect, and establishing a positive relationship with parents. This role also supports the implementation and continuation of the center program in the absence of the coordinator.

Your Responsibilities:
* Assist in maintaining a safe environment through observation of appropriate equipment for children's developmental skills
* Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the coordinator
* Plan and carry out activities that are developmentally appropriate to the children in your care
* Observe, record, and report individual child's behavior as assigned

Your Shift: Monday - Friday, hours between 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (7-8 hour shifts)

You Must Have:
* Some credits to meet MN DHS Assistant Teacher requirements
* A minimum two-year degree that meets Department of Human Services qualifications
* Willingness to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the center's policies and philosophy
* Physical ability to see and hear on-going activities of the children and lift a minimum of 60 pounds

We Would Also Prefer:
* Previous experience in child care or early education

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $14 - $16. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
