Our Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics' Engineering Center of Excellence (soon to be) located in Eagan, Minnesota, is offering an incomparable internship opportunity to jumpstart your career and contribute to innovative engineering projects. Job Responsibilities In this position you will: Work closely with and assist engineers in a variety of engineering assignments. Engage in assignments that develop a solid understanding of our engineering processes and support functions. Perform diverse tasks to familiarize yourself with the engineering staff, methods, programs, and practices. Conduct limited scope product design and testing under engineer supervision. Complete tasks effeciently through individual effort and team collaboration. Record, organize, analyze, and present test data graphically for engineering review. Conduct design analysis and calculations with engineer supervision. Support research in emerging technology fields. Assist in the review and verification of design details. Contribute to the creation and review of test plans, procedures, and report documentation. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Currently enrolled Engineering student; some progress towards engineering degree Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills Must be diligent, hardworking, and eager to learn Prior internship, co-op, or research experience is an advantage Experience with AI is a plus. The expected pay scale for this position is$41,600/yr - $52,000/yr. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly.
