The Radiation Oncology Technician will be responsible for administering Radiation Therapy Treatments to patients (both in-patients and out-patients) as prescribed by the physician. QUALIFICATIONS: NYS DOH licensure in Radiation Therapy Required Must have ARRT board certification Required Minimum of 2 years Radiation Therapy experience Preferred Knowledgeable in Megavoltage equipment ( linear accelerators) Knowledgeable with record and verify systems Knowledgeable with ct-simulators Proficiency in all computer data management and applications such as word processing, graphing, statistical display and use of spreadsheets. Use of PC to perform daily routine operations; fax machine, copy machine, scanner. Knowledgeable with billing operations Knowledgeable with keeping up to date on accrediting agency requirements Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
