Job Description Johnson County Developmental Supports (JCDS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Quality Assurance Analyst within the Community Developmental Disabilities Organization (CDDO) for Johnson County. JCDS serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We focus on individuals' abilities, provide choice driven supports, and advocate alongside people to live and work in our community. The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for establishing positive working relationships with affiliated providers and stakeholders, as well as ensuring contractual expectations and quality of services are being met. Responsibilities include:
Conducts routine and non-routine site visits across Johnson County to determine quality of care of individuals served and ensures compliance with licensing regulations; through technical assistance and training, supports providers in achieving and maintaining compliance.
Job Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Three years of experience working in the intellectual/developmental disabilities field or a related field is required. A valid drivers license and good driving record are also required. A bachelor's degree in human services, social services, rehabilitation, education, or related field is preferred. Knowledge of state regulations and best practices related to the IDD field, familiarity with Federal and State benefits for individuals with disabilities, and experience with HCBS service system is preferred. Previous case management experience is also preferred. Education may substitute for experience and experience may substitute for education. Candidate must be able to successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background screenings, which includes KDADS required screenings and registry checks. |
