Responsibilities

Summary

Assists with the daily supervision of Monitoring Operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as a resource to help Monitoring Services Specialists with troubleshooting equipment problems, interpreting procedures and system-related problems.
  • Serves as the first level focal point for customer feedback/complaints. Works with Monitoring Customer Service to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  • Creates shift schedules and assigns duties to shift personnel to ensure coverage for all customer accounts.
  • Completes regular call and alarm critiques on each new Specialist to ensure that all quality objectives are met.
  • Discusses errors returned by Quality and Training with Specialists and provides feedback on ways to prevent recurrence of the same errors.
  • Responsible for supervision of shift in the absence of the Shift Supervisor.
  • Ensures that all company policies are uniformly and consistently applied and adhered to by all staff members.
  • Acts as a Monitoring Services Specialist as needed to ensure adequate shift coverage.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED required.

* At least two years of office or call center experience.

* Must have in-depth working knowledge of all monitoring systems and field equipment.

* Ability to receive client's approval to work on contract required.

* U.S. Citizenship required.

* Must live in the US 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad included).

* Bilingual preferred.

* Customer service experience preferred.

* Data entry (keyboarding) experience required.

* Good customer service skills.

* Good organizational skills.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality.

* Ability to work as part of a team.

* Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.

* Knowledge of Criminal Justice preferred.

* Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Working Conditions: Encountered on a regular basis as part of the work this job performs.

* Call Center environment.

* Ability to use standard office equipment, such as copier, computer, keyboard, telephone, fax machine.
