Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned) Work on developing RFPs, scope book development, and bid selection for large capital projects. Interface and manage EPC contractors and other vendors and contractors on site. Provides oversight of projects to include consistent communication, record keeping, and reporting, responsibilities include managing a major design-build power and process plant projects by working with internal teams such as development, engineering, legal, environmental, supply chain and operations; develops overall project scope book used to bid the EPC portions of the project, other major equipment bid packages to support the bidding process and project schedule; manages cross-functional project team in both an office and site environment, to include all engineering and construction activities. Leads and develops processes to ensure full, end-to-end coordination between all involved parties from planning, design, construction, commissioning, and start-up. Responsibilities also include monitoring and tracking the progress of the project and staff, both internal and external resources, and taking required action if activities fall behind schedule. Ensures that the project is being constructed in compliance with project specifications, design standards, and applicable codes, established for the project as well as ensuring that comprehensive safety standards are implemented and enforced. Adopts and promotes the commitment to provide a safe workplace that strives for an incident and injury-free environment where everyone goes home safe every day. Ensures construction safety program including Site-Specific Safety Planning is proactively communicated and consistently enforced on all projects. Job Responsibilities
