Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced Welder who is Tig/Mig and/or certified. Our growing fabrication shop manufactures equipment for wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with the required procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Welding stainless steel using various weld procedures including stick welding, MIG welding and TIG welding.
* Set up and operate welding machines to build jobs to company specifications.
* Read measuring equipment and interpret blueprints.
* Create Assemblies out of pipes and fittings.
* Cut metals with laser machine .
* Follow safety protocols.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
* Perform basic maintenance tasks on machines to ensure optimal performance.
* Assist with fabrication and pick and pack shop as needed based on job priorities.
* Learn and operate co-welding bot
* Loading and unloading shipments for the factory and production facility

Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 2+ year experience in Mig or Tig Welding

Core Competencies:
* Ability to read blueprints or engineering drawings
* Strong materials handling skills, including the ability to lift heavy objects
* Familiarity with hand tools and basic machining techniques

Preferences:
* Proficient in basic math skills for measuring and calculating material quantities
* Ability to assemble and disassemble machinery for cleaning and maintenance purposes
* Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
* Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills are highly desirable

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based at our site in Poughkeepsie, NY no travel.

Pay Range:
Starting Pay will range between $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.
