Staffmark is hiring a Machine Operator in Forest, VA! Join a team where your skills and attention to detail help maintain high-quality production standards in a safe and efficient work environment.

Pay: $16/hr

Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (overtime as needed)

Responsibilities:



  • Operate and maintain machinery according to job instructions
  • Perform adjustments and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
  • Meet production standards while maintaining customer quality requirements
  • Communicate job status, production concerns, and corrective actions during shift changes
  • Follow all safety policies, SOPs, and procedures
  • Support team members and facilitate collaboration across shifts
  • Continuously learn new processes to improve efficiency and production



Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance systems
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, perform repetitive motions, and lift 25-40 lbs
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
