Purpose of Position
As a member of the College of Informatics administrative support staff, this position assists with activities that enhance the educational opportunities of the students and the functions and mission of the schools, advising center and college.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide high level administrative support to the dean, associate dean, and Director of Informatics Outreach (DIO). Manage the dean's calendar.

  • Responsible for mail distribution on the 5th floor, ensuring 4th and 5th floor copiers are maintained, ordering office supplies for 4th and 5th floor suites.

  • Responsible for records retention/destruction, ensuring state guidelines are followed for archiving and destroying old records/files.

  • Assist with processing travel requests/expense reports and pcard reconciliation

  • Responsible for ordering textbooks & desk copies for all COI faculty.

  • Responsible for ensuring all COI course syllabi are uploaded into Faculty Success.

  • Manage all key requests and oversee annual key inventory.

  • Assist as needed with college wide events.

  • Assist with processing purchases and payments, and providing other administrative support to the 4th floor administrative staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus two years of related experience required.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, trustworthiness, self-starter, and be able to multi-task.

  • Experience supporting and engaging with people across different cultures, identities, and lived experiences

  • Knowledge of SAP/Workday preferred.
