This position offers remote work allowing employees a combination of onsite and work from home options. Job Summary This position will be responsible for analysis, engineering, development, implementation, troubleshooting, securing, and administering telephony, CRM, and network infrastructure, which includes Cisco routing and switching equipment, Fortinet firewall appliances, and Meraki wireless access points. Essential Functions 45% - Network Infrastructure Administration: Researches, selects, configures, installs, and maintains appropriate hardware (e.g. routers, switches, wireless access points firewalls). Designs network topology for scalability, performance, and redundancy. Monitors uptime, latency, and throughput using SolarWinds tools. Identifies network bottlenecks and optimizes traffic flow Administer firewall, Intrusion Detection System (IDS)/Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), and endpoint protection. Performs regular vulnerability assessments and patching. Diagnoses and resolves connectivity issues. Responds to outages and service degradation. Supports users with network related problems. Ensures configuration backups of network devices. Implements failover systems and redundant paths. Plans and test disaster recovery procedures. Maintains network diagrams and related inventories. Ensures compliance with industry standards. Documents policies and procedures for audits and training. Forecasts future network needs based on growth. Integrates network systems with cloud services and hybrid environments. Manages relationships with hardware and software vendors. Tracks warranties, licenses, and support contracts. Inventories management of network assets 30% - Manage telephony systems: Administers user extensions, voicemail, call routing, and auto attendants. Assigns phone numbers and manage Direct Inward Dialing. Ensures sufficient bandwidth and low latency for VoIP traffic. Monitors jitter, packet loss, and Mean Opinion Score. Ensures compliance with regulations (e.g. E911, HIPAA). Troubleshoots and assists users with telephony related issues. Manages telephony related licenses and subscriptions. Coordinates with telecom providers for SIP trunks or PRI lines. Evaluates new solutions and negotiates renewals. Generates usage reports, call logs, and performance metrics. Tracks costs and optimizes resource allocation 15% - Administer Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems: Installs and configures CRM and related software. Procures, manages, and updates licensing. Coordinates with internal customers utilizing CRM and assists with troubleshooting 10% - Relevant Duties: Maintains technical competency through specialized training, certification, and attending industry related conferences. Acts as a resource for teammates, offering guidance and assistance as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in information technology or related field with seven (7) years of technical experience in IT communication networks, networking infrastructure, network security and systems. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree, education, certification and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Five (5) or more years of experience managing GoTo telephony systems B. Five (5) or more years of experience administering Cisco routing and switching equipment C. Experience managing and configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine D. Experience administering Microsoft Dynamics CRM E. Experience gathering requirements from end users and ability to translate requirements into technical specifications Special Working Conditions Sedentary Work - Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Working Conditions - Work is routinely performed in an indoor, office environment. Positions in this class typically require: fingering, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Work Schedule - Work Schedule Varies. May be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. On-call assignment required. In-person and remote work as needed.
