Your Role on the Team As a student services professional, the incumbent will independently advise students via scheduled one-on-one appointments, during drop-in advising, over email, over online chat, and at the front desk; and will provide the full range of student services within the School of Humanities Office of Undergraduate Study. Responsibilities include: providing prescriptive advice and assistance to students on academic/degree progress and major requirements; monitoring and evaluating students' completion of academic/degree requirements; assisting students in determining a major and reviewing change of major applications; reviewing graduation applications and certifying degree completion; advising on moderately complex issues such as multiple degrees, and withdrawal from/readmission to the University; counseling students involved in disciplinary or probationary cases, and advising on procedures, options, and possible outcomes.
