We invite you to join our Emergency Services Department at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista where we offer 24-hour emergency care. Scripps Mercy Hospital, Chula Vista, Emergency Services Department is at the forefront of innovative processes to reduce patient wait times, first to run a code sepsis and was the model cell for all Scripps Health Emergency Departments. Join our 24 bed Emergency Services Department as a Registered Nurse (RN) where you will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

This is a Full Time, 12-Hour Evening Shift, position located at Scripps Mercy Chula Vista.

  • Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Active California RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association
  • 1 year of recent RN experience in an Adult Emergency Services department
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • CEN - Certified Emergency Nursing
