Job Summary: The Senior Tax Analyst, Domestic, will be responsible for preparing Dana's U.S. federal returns and workpapers. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Domestic Tax.
Job Responsibilities: * Prepare all aspects of the federal tax compliance process. * Work closely with the domestic/international tax team to complete federal and state income tax work plan assignments. * Identify federal tax filing positions that will impact the international and/or state compliance process. * Research, analyze, and interpret new or revised federal tax law changes to determine potential impact on company tax profile. * Assist with federal tax exams, defend positions taken on open returns, evaluate likelihood of sustaining positions taken, and review recognition and measurement of reserves for uncertain tax positions. * Assist on federal tax projects, including tax research. * Assist in the continuous improvement of the tax return process, including the most efficient use of tax return software. * Assist with the preparation of the state and local income/franchise tax compliance. * Assist with the preparation of financial reporting, including the annual analysis of the corporate tax accounts for global operations in accordance with ASC 740 and all other applicable USGAAP accounting principles.
Position Requirements: * 3+ years of corporate tax experience in the federal tax area. Experience in a Big-4 firm and/or with a U.S.-based multinational strongly preferred. * Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, and standard on-line research tools (e.g., RIA). * Technically proficient with strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Strong project management and interpersonal skills. * Ability to join and work with a team of professionals to accomplish a defined set of objectives. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills. * Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with personnel from various areas of responsibility within the organization.

Required Education: * A Bachelor's Degree is required, Accounting or Finance preferred. * Master's or CPA preferred.
