The Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital (JHACH) Division of Pediatric General Surgery is looking to hire a fellowship-trained Pediatric Surgeon in St. Petersburg, Florida. We seek a highly qualified, team-oriented candidate committed to advancing the mission of our nationally recognized Esophageal and Airway Treatment (EAT) Program. In addition to providing pediatric general surgery care, this individual will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of surgeons, gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, speech/swallow therapists, cardiologists and cardiac surgeons, intensivists, neonatologists, and other pediatric subspecialists dedicated to providing innovative, comprehensive care for children with both general surgical conditions and complex esophageal and airway conditions. Program Growth and Development: The Johns Hopkins All Children's Esophageal and Airway Treatment Program is one of only a handful of dedicated pediatric programs in the nation offering comprehensive, individualized care for children with complex esophageal and airway disorders. We serve as a regional, national, and international referral center, providing advanced surgical options and long-term follow-up to optimize functional outcomes. A candidate with interest and some expertise in complex airway reconstruction, advanced esophageal surgery, intensive care and related thoracic procedures would be a valuable addition. The ideal candidate will have, or acquire, the requisite skills to support and enhance the continued growth and national recognition of this unique program. Candidate Qualifications: Desirable candidates will be board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric surgery and have a significant interest in thoracic surgery, including complex pediatric esophageal and airway surgery, in addition to the full spectrum of pediatric general surgery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration, innovative surgical approaches, and advancing outcomes research in pediatric airway and esophageal care.
