(Remote)High Voltage Electrical Designer

A remote High Voltage Electrical Designer job is currently available through Belcan. This role supports data center and modular building projects, focusing on electrical system design and implementation. You will work with a small team of designers and engineers to incorporate electrical systems into SolidWorks assembly models and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in both construction and industrial environments.

Job Duties:
-Lead electrical design efforts for data centers and modular buildings, including above and below grade systems.
-Coordinate/create Revit and SolidWorks models with other trades, resolving clashes, designing support hardware, and ensuring alignment to existing systems.
-Support electrical engineering projects from concept to execution.
-Develop and maintain documentation in support of the electrical implementation, including schematics, specifications, and operational procedures.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, controls, and automation.

Requirements:
-Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering or related on job experience.
-Five or more years of experience in electrical design and construction, preferably in data centers or modular -manufacturing.
-Proficiency in Revit, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office.
-Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, CSA, IEEE).
-Experience with industrial electrical systems including switchgear, panelboards, transformers, UPS systems, and VFDs.
-Experience developing and enforcing best practices for electrical safety and design.

Preferred:
-Master's degree or certifications such as PE or PMP.
-Experience with Oracle Primavera, Navisworks, or other AutoCAD modules.
-Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
-Ability to analyze system performance and implement improvements.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $90,000 to $108,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
