DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will provide essential support for both infrastructure and application environments for agencies served by our Infrastructure and Economic Development Delivery Center. Our team's combined efforts support Community and Economic Development, Transportation, Emergency Management offices across the state while offering you the chance to expand your horizons and advance your career across general and specialized IT areas. Key duties will include:
- Provide expert-level support for Microsoft Windows operating systems, ensuring system stability and rapid issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems across infrastructure and enterprise applications with precision and efficiency.
- Serve as the liaison between the delivery center and enterprise teams, facilitating seamless communication and alignment.
- Report directly to the ETSO Server Operations Manager and contribute to cross-agency initiatives that enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to support cybersecurity efforts, system upgrades, and enterprise-wide IT strategies.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Microsoft Windows operating systems across enterprise environments.
- Monitor, maintain, and perform lifecycle care of APC UPS and PDU hardware to ensure power continuity and infrastructure reliability.
- Respond to and resolve incident tickets in a timely manner, prioritizing based on impact and urgency to minimize service disruption.
- Collaborate with enterprise teams to coordinate system updates, patching schedules, and infrastructure enhancements.
- Serve as liaison between the delivery center and enterprise operations, ensuring alignment on technical standards and service expectations.
- Support server operations and contribute to strategic planning for infrastructure scalability and performance optimization.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week. Telework is up to the manager's discretion. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 1, Senior Applications Developer, Database Administrator 1, Data Administrator 1, Information Security Specialist 2, or Network Administrator 1 (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Six years of information technology experience that includes three years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services; or
- Four years of information technology experience that includes three years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
- Two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires four or more years of full-time professional experience performing troubleshooting, diagnostics, and recovery in Microsoft Windows Server operating systems within enterprise environments.
- This particular position also requires possession of a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
