DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 2, you would be responsible for processing and distribution of all incoming and outgoing electronic and physical mail. You will maintain files of reports, assignments, correspondence, forms, and any other documentation relating to the operation of the office. You will also monitor, or assist in monitoring, leave and daily attendance records for employees of the office. Other duties include:
- Inputs appropriate information into the tracking system.
- Responsible for accurate input of staff leave records and weekly time sheets, according to all leave and attendance rules and regulations.
- Maintains appropriate inventory of office supplies and equipment.
- Processes Internal Stores Requisitions and general orders as required.
- Answers incoming calls and transfers to the appropriate area. Takes messages when appropriate and ensures delivery of messages.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
