In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional customer service while completing all birth, fetal and neonatal death registration according to the guidelines established by the State of California Office of Vital Records and Statistics and UCLA hospital policy and procedures.

Salary Range: $37.85 - $37.85 hourly

We are seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with:

• High School graduate or proof of equivalence with previous work experience required
• Previous hospital experience preferred
• Knowledge of UCLA Medical Center policies, perinatal unit policies and procedures and State of Calif. DHS Office of Vital Records and Statistics statutes and legislation
• Ability to perform assigned tasks with 100% accuracy commensurate with hospital standards, government requirements and established unit QA guidelines
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English
• Ability to set priorities, recognizing urgent issues and take appropriate action
• Ability to re-prioritize standard work schedule as needed
• Skill in performing under stress due to frequent interruptions and/or distractions
• Skill in performing repetitive tasks according to set procedure, sequence and pace, on a continuous basis
• Ability to accept supervision and perform tasks despite frequent interruptions
