Lead Level Java Developer - Hybrid Role (Orlando, FL) Are you a passionate Java developer ready to build high-impact, guest-facing applications from the ground up? What You'll Be Doing: You'll be part of a high-performing engineering team responsible for designing and developing a brand-new system tied to a major guest experience platform. This is a highly visible role with executive-level attention and long-term growth potential. * Collaborate with architects and Lead engineers to solution and build new systems from scratch. * Work on high-scale, high-volume applications with millions of users. * Contribute to "Cone of Silence" projects-top-secret initiatives that push the boundaries of innovation. Must-Have Skills: * 5+ years of experience in Java 18+ * Strong expertise in concurrent programming paradigms and Reactive Programming using WebFlux or Project Reactor. * Proven experience building RESTful APIs with Spring Boot. * Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. * Experience with Kotlin (HUGE plus!) * Familiarity with Redis for caching * Strong grasp of OOP principles, design patterns, and best practices * Exposure to NoSQL, GraphDB, mobile apps, and scripting tools like Python Why You'll Love This Role: * Be part of a team that supports 4,000+ applications across parks, hotels, cruises, and retail. * Work on IoT-enabled systems that use radar and Wi-Fi to optimize guest experiences. * Gain exposure to legacy modernization and cloud-native architecture. * Opportunity to convert to full-time after 12-18 months.
