West Virginia University Medicine is seeking a full-time Hospitalist based at Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA.

West Virginia University Medicine is seeking Hospitalists for WVUHS Medical Group. About the positions:

  • Located in Uniontown, PA
  • 150 bed facility

  • Flexible schedule with Week on week off rotation- no mandatory night shifts for daytime physicians

  • No procedure requirement

Duties: Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.

Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent. Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and Pennsylvania Medical License eligible. Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Uniontown Hospital is a compassionate, dedicated community hospital providing a full range of medical care to residents of Fayette County and the surrounding areas for more than a century. Health care services provided at our acute and specialty care hospital include an award-winning Cardiology Department and catheterization lab, an award-winning Stroke Center, and a state-of-the-art Wound Healing Center.
