Global Fund Covid 19 Response Evaluation Team Lead

Role Purpose:

The Team Lead/ Subject Matter expert provides overall leadership and direction for the evaluation, while serving as the technical expert in global health system strengthening and pandemic preparedness, specifically Covid-19 Response Mechanisms (C19RM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the evaluation team and ensure timely delivery of all outputs (Inception Report, Interim Report, Final Report, Evaluation Brief).
• Oversee the entire evaluation process, from methodology design, evaluation tools and analytical frameworks development, to reporting and dissemination.
• Provide subject matter expertise in global health systems, C19RM, and Resilient & Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH).
• Act as the primary liaison with the Global Fund's Evaluation and Learning Office (ELO).
• Present evaluation findings to stakeholders, including at workshops and governance meetings.

Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience in implementing and evaluating large-scale global health programs.
• Advanced degree in public health, epidemiology, or related field.
• Proven track record in leading multi-country evaluations.
• Deep knowledge of C19RM, Global Fund processes and priority area and health systems strengthening.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• English proficiency required; French highly desirable.
• Domiciled in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia or SE Asia is highly desirable.
