Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Integrator located in Huntsville, AL. The Senior Program Integrator provides critical support to the Fixed Wing Project Office (FWPO), SEMA Division, in the design, development, delivery, and support of FWPO A-ISR aircraft to provide critical capabilities for operational commanders and U.S. Allies, with an added focus on integrating cutting-edge capabilities and supporting the High Accuracy Detection Exploitation System (HADES) Futures Development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Business, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
    • Desired: MBA or MS in Acquisition & Program Management.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10-18 years of program integration experience, with at least 10 years in DoD/Army acquisition programs (up to billion-dollar programs preferred).
    • Proven ability to lead teams of contractors, engineers, and government personnel.
    • Experience with DoD acquisition infrastructure, Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF), Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), and milestone decision processes.
  • Certifications:
    • DAWIA Program Management Level III, Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced expertise in DoD/Army acquisition policies and processes.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to track detailed information individually or in a team.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and program management tools.
    • Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior military/government leadership and stakeholders.
    • Ability to coordinate multi-organizational, executive-level meetings and integrated product teams.
  • Security Clearance:
    • Active Top Secret security clearance with current investigation.
  • Travel:
    • CONUS and OCONUS travel are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage program documentation, including Task Orders, MTA decisions, Acquisition Strategies, and Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System (JCIDS) requirements.
  • Provide technical analysis and integration across engineering, procurement, financial management, environmental management, and configuration management.
  • Author, edit, and deliver executive-level reports, briefings, and information papers (classified and unclassified) using MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and program management software.
  • Ensure Statements of Work (SOW) and program requirements are detailed and executable.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., ASA(ALT), DCS-G2, PM SAI, INSCOM, and ACM-IS to align program strategies and resolve conflicts.
  • Support the Assistant Product Manager (APM) and Product Manager (PdM) in executing HADES and SEMA program objectives, serving as a single point of integrative responsibility.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, spend plans, and financial performance using the DoD's Program, Planning, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • Conduct program reviews, milestone decision staffing, and briefings for senior Army leadership.
  • Provide expertise in DoD and Army acquisition policies, including AAF, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and DoDI 5000.02.
  • Advise on ISR aircraft operations, pilot qualifications, and updates to flight operations checklists and procedures.
  • Maintain databases, track program schedules, and perform cost and technical analyses to support acquisition decisions.

Key Focus Areas

  • SEMA Program Support:
    • Planning, scheduling, and technical analysis for HADES ISR operations.
    • Coordination with deployed units and Government Flight Representatives (GFR) for compliance with AR 95-20, AR 95-1, and Service Guidance.
    • Development and review of acquisition and contracting documents, including Middle Tier Acquisition (MTA) statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • HADES Futures Capabilities:
    • Modular Open System Architecture (MOSA) utilizing HADES Digital Backbone (DBB).
    • Next-generation Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) initiatives.
    • Robust Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) for Automated Target Recognition (ATR).
    • Integration and Air Worthiness Release (AWR) for hardpoint capabilities (Air Launched Effects, Specialized Sensors, Electronic Warfare).
    • Sensor upgrades, onboard Cross Domain Solutions, and Cyber Effects.
