About the Role We are seeking an experienced compliance professional to lead and build our Technology Risk and Controls function, which is a new team within DET under the office of the CIO that will be responsible for managing compliance and risk workstreams within the department. This role will work cross functionally with audit and compliance teams across the enterprise, as well as teams within the department, to oversee and ensure that DET's risk and controls environment operate effectively to meet Salesforce's commitments to our customers. Impact - Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategy for the Technology Risk and Controls team to ensure continuous oversight and compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks (SOX, ISO27001, SOC1/2, etc.) within DET. Collaborate cross functionally to develop and maintain control documentation and narratives for processes within DET to ensure controls and process alignment. Partner with audit and compliance teams across the organization, as well as external auditors, to facilitate the execution of security compliance assessments. Engage with teams across the enterprise to implement audit recommendations and drive improvements in compliance processes and controls. Work cross functionally to identify opportunities to simplify controls and automate audit testing activities and documentation. Conduct risk assessments and ensure a process is in place to identify, document, and mitigate risks within DET in alignment with organizational risk reporting strategy. Development of risk and compliance policies or similar documentation needed for DET, as well as oversight in ensuring compliance with enterprise risk and control policies within department. Provide regular updates and reports on risk and compliance to the CIO and DET leadership. For New Jersey based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $240,400 to $384,600. |
