Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Material Coordinator/ Logistics Specialist shall provide logistical\material coordination support for the USV Operations and Sustainment program supporting Astrion Navy Division.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Coordinator / Logistics Specialist to manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and oversee supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient movement of materials while maintaining accurate records and optimizing logistics processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• High School Diploma
• Well versed in Microsoft office suite programs
• Forklift operator
• Office and warehouse environment with occasional travel required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Active secret clearance or able to obtain
• Experience working with DOD and or prior military experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery for multiple locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform periodic audits.
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and freight carriers to schedule deliveries and resolve issues.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including material storage, handling, and distribution.
• Coordinate Crane operations and generate critical lift plans.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, material usage, and logistics performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.

SALARY RANGE: Estimated $65,000 - $75,000 USD annually*
*depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications
