Responsibilities

At Newport Healthcare, we are passionate about providing exceptional care and support to our clients and their families. We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to join our team and help us enhance the world of mental health treatment!

What You'll Be Doing:

As our Clinical Director, you'll be at the helm of our clinical operations, guiding all aspects of programming and treatment services.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Training Development: Collaborate with our national clinical team to create engaging training sessions that enhance staff skills and performance.

  • Caseload Management: Efficiently assign caseloads to ensure that every client and family receives the necessary therapeutic support while optimizing team resources.

  • Program Coordination: Develop a clinical program schedule that aligns with our innovative treatment model, ensuring compliance and satisfaction.

  • Team Leadership: Facilitate treatment team meetings and group supervision sessions that encourage collaboration and creativity.

  • Admissions Oversight: Manage the admissions process, including final approvals and coordination with the Admissions Department, to ensure a seamless experience for clients.

  • Client and Family Support: Focus on creating positive experiences for clients and families through open communication and genuine care.

  • Crisis Management: Provide effective support during crisis situations, offering on-call assistance as needed.

  • Quality Assurance: Lead quality assurance initiatives and conduct monthly audits to ensure our clinical documentation meets high standards.

  • Family Program Assistance: Collaborate with Family Therapists to facilitate family support groups and deliver informative psychoeducational presentations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work required.
  • Licensed in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work required.
  • Two years or more of relevant clinical experience with adolescents, young adults, and families, with mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring disordered populations.
  • Minimum of one-year experience in a residential setting.
  • Minimum of one-year supervisor experience.

Compensation for this role ranges from $98,786-$148,000 annually depending on education and experience.

We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
