PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Manages the fulfillment of wholesale products and packaging supplies for all processing and inventory facilities and serves as the primary contact for warehouse inventory, quality, processing, and packaging operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assists with the development and execution of inventory forecasting, production, and packaging of wholesale products. Responsible for purchasing and placing wholesale products from outside suppliers to meet forecasted demand.

Assists with prioritizing quality and regulatory data to guarantee quality products shipped to customers.

Positions inventory to fill customer orders on time and ensure products are packaged, placed, and available according to forecasted demand.

Manages the inventory for packaging or repackaging.

Maintains inventory systems to ensure accurate availability of products.

Develop and monitor the return program for all assigned products. Work closely with the Customer Care team to monitor returned programs and product

Responsible for managing the details of specific wholesale product lines, including product placement, and working with contractors and suppliers to obtain all necessary documentation and samples.

Provides processing instructions to production, packaging, and vendor facilities to ensure products meet quality and regulatory guidelines and are packaged and supplied according to forecasted demand.

Manages and tracks wholesale purchase contract information to ensure the plants, vendors, and accounting receive timely and useful information to maintain efficient operations.

May work with outside vendors securing quotes and coordinating direct shipments of wholesale products to customers

May include analyzing and negotiating production, product, and logistic contracts and cost

May include analyzing, formulating, publishing, and quoting product pricing.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Manages and builds vendor relationships.

Supports and implements the Division's efforts in enabling technology when/if applicable.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a bachelor's degree in agriculture, or the equivalent thereof, and 4 years or more of seed production related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of inventory and supply management systems.

Understanding and experience with seed-related areas including seed plant operations, seed product lines, seed quality factors, forecasting, distribution, order fulfillment, technical support, inventory control, decision making, and allocations.

Must be able to learn seed analysis and quality assurance testing standards.

Ability to read, assimilate, evaluates, and interpret technical data pertaining to the seed production and seed quality testing.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve results through others.

Proven computer skills including Word and Excel along with the ability to learn GROWMARK related software and use the computer to enhance business processes.

Ability to work hours other than those considered normal.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
