Unit Aide-Infectious Disease (C05B)

Students must be able to work as scheduled for at least one year, no exceptions.

Contingent position working 16 hours per month, minimum. Must be able to work all shifts; Days, Evenings and Nights as needed.

Starting pay: $18.36/hr + based on experience. $1.75 night shift differential in addition to base pay rate.

Non-exempt, benefits and overtime eligible.

• Maintains cleanliness of the unit by regularly cleaning, disinfecting and organizing toys, surfaces and equipment per hospital policy.
• Stocks and restocks supplies in patient rooms and common areas as directed by supervisor, charge nurse or manager.
• Runs errands for unit as needed such as picking up supplies from Central Distribution, delivering/ picking up other items as needed or as delegated.
• Assist manager with various office tasks such as filing, sorting and copying.
• Breaks rooms down after discharges. Checks hallway for wheelchairs/wageons and O2 tanks and returns them to proper storage area on unit.
• Assists manager or administrative assistant with various office tasks such as filing, sorting and copying. Assists with special office projects as delegated.

Highschool Diploma, preferred.
