Marketing Manager, Subscription Growth & Acquisition

Marketing Team

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Cupertino, CA or Culver City, CA.


Summary

We're looking for an experienced and data-driven marketing leader to develop and optimize subscription acquisition strategies across a suite of digital services. This individual will be a critical member of the marketing team, collaborating with cross-functional partners to grow adoption and engagement. The role is key to supporting performance goals and customer acquisition through experimentation, insights, and execution across channels.


Our Ideal Candidate

  • 5-10 years of experience in subscription marketing, customer acquisition, or growth marketing
  • Passion for digital ecosystems and consumer technology with a strong foundation in marketing strategy and experimentation
  • Proficient in A/B testing platforms, data analytics tools, and performance optimization frameworks
  • Familiar with subscription-based business models and digital product ecosystems
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, analytics, and design
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholder needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Creative, collaborative, and comfortable in an entrepreneurial and evolving environment


Job Description

In this role, you will lead acquisition and activation marketing initiatives to drive awareness and growth of key digital services.

You'll partner with product, engineering, analytics, international marketing, business development, and design teams to align on goals and deliverables. This includes developing and executing A/B testing strategies, optimizing conversion funnels, defining value propositions and messaging, and scaling owned channel programs.

You will also support the ongoing improvement of marketing performance through experimentation, reporting, and performance insights-supporting the broader marketing team's success and business goals.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Background in marketing strategy, performance marketing, or digital subscriptions
  • Previous experience in consumer tech, digital services, or platform ecosystems preferred

This opportunity is located in Cupertino or Culver City, CA and requires hybrid on-site work 2-3 days per week

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from:




  • $$75 - 78.59/hour (local to Cupertino)



  • $$70 - 73.21/hour (local to Culver City)
