Job Description

The Center for Child Well-Being, housed within the Department of Psychiatry in the University of Missouri School of Medicine, seeks a Senior Project/Program Support Coordinator to support Early Childhood Programs by serving as the Program Lead for the Early Child Positive Behavior Support (ECPBS) Program.

Using evidence-based coaching and training frameworks, ECPBS supports early childhood educators in Boone County in building their knowledge and skills to foster positive relationships with children and families, promote social-emotional development, respond effectively to behavioral needs, and enhance kindergarten readiness.

This is a .95 FTE (38 hours per week), benefit eligible, on-site position based at the Center for Child Well-Being in Columbia, Missouri.

Key Responsibilities for the ECPBS Program Lead include, but are not limited to:
* Lead ECPBS by overseeing all aspects of program implementation, operations, and management. Ensure all contract deliverables are met.
* Supervise and support the ECPBS team (3-4 staff) through formal and reflective supervision to promote staff growth and program fidelity.
* Lead reporting and dissemination activities. Lead grant writing for contract resubmission. Develop and deliver high-quality, in-person and virtual trainings on early childhood mental health and social-emotional development.
* Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation for all program activities, e.g., coaching visits, training sessions, incentive tracking.
* Use internal evaluation tools to collect, analyze, and apply data to inform continuous quality improvement and demonstrate program impact.
* Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with community partners and program stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the Early Childhood Domain Director on long-term sustainability planning, including identifying and securing diversified funding streams.

Shift

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m

Occasional nights and weekends to accommodate trainings.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree or experience in Program Management, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Work, or other related field.
State certification or licensure in education, mental health, or a related field.
3 or more years of supervisory experience in early childhood education settings preferred.
Experience with evidence-based frameworks such as the Pyramid Model, Conscious Discipline, trauma-informed care, etc.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $55,000- $65,000 annually
Grade: GGS - 010
