Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This position collaborates with the relationship team to provide fiduciary services to high net worth clients with a focus on relationship expansion and retention. Consults on estate and tax planning, wealth transfer, and asset management needs. Implements and fulfills the provisions of legal and estate planning documents. Collaborates with team to identify planning and revenue opportunities driven by client goals, needs, financial situations, and family dynamics. Demonstrates discretion and effective judgement in managing complex and sensitive relationships. Supports client service delivery and operational management in all assigned relationships. May mentor and provide advice to fiduciary associates and team members through a strong knowledge of fiduciary norms.


Responsibilities

  • Fiduciary Management - Administers personal trust accounts. Consults with team and clients to develop comprehensive, long-range fiduciary and estate plans. Ensure accounts comply with legal and regulatory guidelines as well as directives contained in Trust documents. Communicates clearly and effectively with grantors, beneficiaries, relationship team and other interested parties with respect to fiduciary decisions.
  • Relationship Management - Drives ongoing client service to maintain strong relationships, expansion of High Net Worth services and revenue opportunities.
  • Collaboration - Partners with other associates on administering investment-oriented client relationships, managing client communications, and service responsiveness. Coordinates aspects of service across team to ensure a satisfactory client experience.
  • Sales - Promotes the Private Wealth Advisory Services offerings with existing clients, within local markets, and by engaging partners to capture additional assets. Supports the profiling of customer needs in the context of an advice-based relationship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Trust Administration, Estate Planning or Financial Planning OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Trust Administration, Estate Planning or Financial Planning

Preferred Skills: Trust or Legal License or Certification Type: National Trust School, Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Accomplished level of financial or fiduciary and estate planning skills, Demonstrated relationship management skills. Demonstrated discovery skills. Strong communication skills. Demonstrated teamwork skills.

The base pay for this position is generally between $120,000 and $160,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment
