As the Associate Director of Brand Management for Walmart Family Mobile, you will lead the brand to define winning growth strategies for Walmart Family Mobile to ensure the brand continues being a leader within Walmart. You will be diving deep into business performance, consumer insights, and the competitive landscape to design and launch new value propositions, products, and promotions.   • Simple Mobile: Carving out a niche of its own, Simple Mobile shines as the premier choice among authorized resellers. Its consistent recognition as the most carried brand in Wave7 Research's prepaid dealer survey for 36 consecutive quarters speaks volumes about its popularity and reliability.

In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days (in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

What you'll be doing...
  • Owns the Walmart Family Mobile Brand Roadmap, including New Value Propositions, Products and Promotions and helps drive strategic alignment across all functions (VVO Leadership, Finance, Distribution, Marketing, Legal, GTS, Operations) to what is needed to execute through the organization.

  • Creates the strategy with the Design team for Walmart Family Mobile, using conceptual thinking to understand and unearth relevant pain points and insights that will drive growth for the business

  • Leads the VVO multifunctional teams (Finance, Distribution, Marketing, Legal, GTS, Operations) to the alignment and adherence of defined strategies

  • Develops strategic projects that build towards the defined Brand Road map from the creation of Strategic Decks, pre-alignment with the Brand Implementation team, works with Brand Insight and Financial team to develop Assumptions and Business Rules for business Cases for new value propositions, products and promotions.

  • Develops and proposes new value propositions, pricing and promotion strategies for the Walmart Family Mobile brand to Brand Leadership Team.

  • Develops and drives programs and tactics that bring the Brand strategy to life for consumers across all channels

  • Defines business assumptions and business rules for all proposed value propositions, pricing and promotions that are aligned to the brand's overall Strategy

  • Works closely with CMI and Brand Marketing teams on the development of key messages and campaigns that drive growth for the brand, including new value propositions, promotions and products.

  • Works closely with the Brand Implementation team through the execution of programs and products.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Project management experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Experience managing and influencing client relationships at the senior executive level. Ability to present and interact with all levels of management.

Even Better If You Have one or more of the following...

  • MBA or Master's degree.

  • Understanding of Vz internal systems

  • Experience in telecommunications and/or CPG.

  • Strong project management skills, efficient multi-tasking is vital to success.

  • Experience managing and influencing client relationships at the senior executive level. Ability to present and interact with all levels of management.

  • Impeccable managerial skills and Excellent communication skills and executive presence

  • Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level).The ability to influence without direct authority.

Where you'll be working

Depending on the role, employees have the opportunity to receive compensation in the form of premium pay such as overtime, shift differential, holiday pay, allowances, etc. Newly hired employees receive up to 15 days of vacation per year, which grows with additional service. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $114,000.00 - $219,000.00.
