Job Title: Practice Coordinator

Location(s): Brisbane, CA

(Hybrid)



Position Overview:
Seeking a Practice Cordinator to support the Client Call Center with a focus on patient services. This position involves handling incoming patient calls (~50/day), navigating multiple systems, and delivering exceptional service while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Candidate Prioritization:

  1. Top Priority: Fully compliant & APeX-trained.
  2. Second: APeX-trained & partially compliant.
  3. Third: Previously worked at UCSF, not compliant.
  4. Last: Meet job qualifications but not APeX-trained or compliant.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle ~50 incoming patient calls daily.
  • Use multiple patient record systems effectively.
  • Schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with UCSF policies.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and performance improvement efforts.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma + 4 years related experience OR
  • College Degree + 6 months related experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • APeX experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior UCSF experience a plus.


Skills Required:

  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Experience with at least two of the following: Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Comfortable wearing telephone headphones for extended periods.
