Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Oklahoma City, OK Tuesday-Saturday 8am-4pm

Essential Functions of Employment with DLO:

* Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform

There is a potential that hours and testing location may vary.

Responsible for performing routine and non-routine activities pertaining to laboratory testing and the reporting of results. Performs moderately difficult to complex tasks. Performs assigned analytical testing procedures in an accurate, precise, and timely manner. Assist with processing as needed to facilitate good patient care. Follow employer policies, work with fellow employees in a professional, productive manner, and perform instrument maintenance as scheduled and troubleshooting as needed.

General laboratory knowledge, including good computer skills and be able to adapt to multiple computer systems. Must have knowledge of QA and QC as well as knowledge of all areas of the laboratory.

AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Laboratory Science. ASCP MLS/MLT certification or equivalent or be eligible for national MLS/MLT certification.

Ability to maintain a professional, courteous and pleasant attitude in times of heavy workload and stress. Reflect the company's values in all aspects of performance.Teamwork with fellow employees is a must. Keyboard skills are important. Good customer service skills, professional appearance and attitude are required. Be willing to work overtime or other shifts if require and may require weekend and holiday rotations as well as "on call".
