Salary:$24.00-$33.00 Per Hour
Schedule:5 8-hour Days: Days, Evenings, and weekend shift available.

Focus:The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transportation of materials and finished products between Winchester facilities and customer locations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Delivery Driver Essential Job Functions:

  • Operate company vehicles to transport materials between plant locations and customer sites following all traffic and safety regulations.

  • Load and unload freight efficiently, verifying order accuracy and product condition.

  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

  • Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation.

  • Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable.

  • Communicate professionally with warehouse staff, customers, and management.

Delivery Driver Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in warehouse or manufacturing logistics.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather and environmental conditions.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

  • Previous logistics/warehouse experience at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant preferred.

Location-Specific Requirements:

  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.

  • This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. To meet the government-facility requirements, the candidate must be a US citizen.
