What You'll Do

As the Marketing Content Manager at RTI Health Solutions, your main responsibility will be to oversee the planning and creation of all marketing content and ensure that it is optimized for distribution across multiple channels. This includes social media, blogs, podcasts, email, and more. Your goal is to manage all the assets the marketing team will use to drive engagement, generate leads, and boost brand awareness.

Your job includes conducting research to identify the target audience, developing buyer personas, and producing content that speaks to their pain points and interests. You'll also collaborate with other teams like graphic designers, SEO specialists, and writers to produce high-quality content. As a Content Manager, you'll use data analytics to measure engagement and use that information to inform future efforts and improve results.

Successful candidates for the Content Manager role should have a solid understanding of the latest content marketing trends, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective time management is crucial, as you'll be responsible for meeting deadlines and producing content that resonates with our target audience.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Create, edit, and manage a variety of content types, including but not limited to social media posts, infographics, blog posts, ebooks, videos, website pages, marketing emails, and more.
  • Ensure all content is on brand and optimized for SEO and user engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to ensure messaging and strategy are aligned
  • Manage the lifecycle of content production from ideation to distribution, including establishing and maintaining an actionable content calendar and developing repeatable production workflows.
  • Maintain relationships with subject matter experts and lead the ideation, writing, editing, and proofing of thought leadership content.
  • Continuously analyze content performance metrics to measure effectiveness and inform future strategy adjustments or content plans.
  • Conduct regular content audits to identify any gaps and areas for improvement and optimizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and digital marketing best practices, new technologies and platforms, and content marketing trends.
  • Experiment with new content formats and emerging tech like AI to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Participate in relevant industry events as needed, attend relevant webinars, and build professional networks to stay informed.
  • Support content distribution through channels such as social media and email
  • Create and maintain content budgets and manage expenses.

What You'll Need

  • A bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in hands-on content creation, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing digital marketing strategies and successful marketing campaigns with measurable results.
  • Working knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization) principles and keyword research to improve visibility and engagement.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts such as email marketing, social media marketing, inbound vs. outbound marketing, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems. Drupal is preferred, however WordPress, HubSpot CMS, Contentful, Wix, and others will be considered.
  • Copywriting skills and the ability to adapt to diverse audiences on various channels and platforms. Experience developing a brand voice, tone guides, and editorial guidelines.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to own and maintain an editorial calendar, deadlines, and moving parts of a content strategy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with previous experience managing a team of freelancers, writers, or content creators.

Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States. RTI considers multiple factors when making an offer including, for example: established salary range, internal budget, business needs, and education and years of work experience possessed by the applicant. Further, salary is merely one element to our offer.
