TITLE: Marketing Manager



POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Marketing Manager position reports to the Senior Executive - Grocery/Retail. The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of all aspects of Grocery/Retail's marketing efforts using traditional & emerging marketing techniques. This position will play an important role in the expansion and elevation of Grocery/Retail's internal & external B2B market presence. In conjunction with the strategic direction of the company and Senior Executive, the key focus of the Marketing Manager is to lead the creation and implementation of engaging marketing content through the development and deployment of integrated sales and marketing tools.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing
  • 5 - 8 years of Marketing experience in a B2B environment
  • Previous B2B plastic & paper packaging and/or market knowledge preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, including Adobe Creative Suite, and expertise in Microsoft Office products
  • Proficient time management of self and others to ensure on-time execution of regularly occurring and ad hoc projects
  • Highest level of attention to detail to meet the need of market-ready materials
  • Strong marketing portfolio, demonstrating excellence in ideation and design
  • Ability to conceive, design, develop and apply creative ideas across multiple digital channels
  • Digital object/brand photography and photo-editing
  • Ability to create and edit compelling video content
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and practices, including layout, typography and use of tone and color
  • Familiarity with front-end website development & design, experience designing and implementing landing pages plus practice with SEO / SEM, analytics, etc.
  • Experience with analytics tools and data analysis
  • Experience in product branding and design for both print and digital execution
  • Thorough understanding of display and social media specifications
  • Detail oriented to ensure accuracy in all facets of design and execution
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/campaigns at the same time with commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Understanding and ability to utilize AI tools to enhance content
  • Mindset to work independently, be self-motivated, creative and think strategically
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments, across divisions, at a variety of levels
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to evolving priorities
  • Grasp ideas from others and be self-examining concerning comments or criticisms from others
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Create, gain approval and execute comprehensive written Annual Strategic Marketing Plans
  • Generate and regularly update monthly marketing calendars to pro-actively schedule announcements for new products, industry events, market seasonality and company news, etc.
  • Recommend, lead the development of and complete tactical marketing campaigns using multiple internal and external communication channels
  • Provide direction to a Marketing Specialist and/or guidance to other colleagues preparing marketing materials to maintain unit messaging while adhering to company and unit guidelines & standards
  • Utilize Adobe Suite and other software to create, maintain and update traditional, digital marketing & video materials such as spec sheets, sell sheets, FAQ's, flyers, infographics, trade show materials, advertisements, social media posts and other sales & marketing materials
  • Shoot, edit and organize product photos & videos and/or give direction to others to maintain brand standards
  • Provide direction to maintain Fantapak's website, including writing, designing and editing web page content to keep the site up-to-date, current on standards, trends, and requirements for modern web applications
  • Lead the development and maintenance of other unit web-sites, example Inteplast Bags & Films
  • Design appealing packaging artwork which aligns with the specific company vision and brand identity
  • Manage internal communication content to ensure Grocery/Retail key messages are circulated on a regular basis
  • Develop and maintain accounts for Grocery/Retail external social media
  • Promote new and existing products to Sales to generate interest and increase revenue potential
  • Utilize analytic tools to gauge the effectiveness of marketing efforts and apply the information to optimize and craft new marketing materials that are aligned with target market
  • Direct the maintenance and updates of company archives and use information for basis of communications
  • Manage all needs for tradeshows and industry events, etc.
  • Attend, photograph and document company events
  • Maintain and update customer and media contact lists
  • Develop an understanding of current marketing trends and practices through continuing education, reading or participation in professional conferences, workshops or groups
  • Provide suggestions and insights into new and emerging design trends and capabilities in the digital marketing space
  • Understand the requirements and specifications of video, GIF, and other types of digital assets
  • Stay up to date on specs, file size requirements and technical requirements for digital marketing
  • Engage with external vendors and agencies as needed for development and organization of high-quality content
  • Submit a meaningful monthly report including summary of completed programs, open projects & plans for upcoming campaigns
  • All other special projects and duties, as requested



AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING:



  • Generate, gain approval and execute formal comprehensive written Marketing Strategies
  • Provide direction to a Marketing Specialist including development of annual goals & reviews along with providing day-to-day guidance to others in the unit creating marketing materials
  • Recommend relevant marketing content
  • Conceive, design, develop and apply creative ideas across all digital channels
  • Lead projects from inception to completion, meeting provided deadlines
  • As needed, evaluate & manage programs with external groups, example video company, website developer, etc.
  • Communication and cooperation with other internal teams such as but not limited to Sales, Corporate Communications, Management, Legal, etc.



WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:



  • Remote work; occasional meetings at office
