Respiratory Therapy Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to lead our respiratory care team and ensure exceptional patient outcomes. This leadership role combines clinical expertise with operational management, overseeing daily operations while maintaining the highest standards of respiratory care.


Key Responsibilities
This leadership role encompasses supervising and developing respiratory therapy staff through coaching, mentoring, and performance management while conducting advanced cardiopulmonary assessments and ensuring quality patient care through weekly audits and continuous monitoring. You will manage department productivity, budgets, and resource allocation while implementing quality improvement initiatives, maintaining equipment readiness, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position also involves contributing to strategic planning and leading professional initiatives including policy development, research projects, and staff education programs. Success in this role requires strong clinical assessment and emergency response capabilities, excellent communication and leadership skills, proficiency with ventilators and respiratory equipment, and knowledge of respiratory medications and telemetry.


Requirements

Education & Certification



  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
  • Current Maryland Respiratory Care License
  • Current CPR certification



Experience



  • 3-5 years acute-care respiratory therapy experience
  • 2-3 years supervisory or charge experience


Salary Range: Minimum 45.79/hour - Maximum 75.51/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
