Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States or onsite in our Jacksonville, FL Office

The primary purpose of this role is to develop, maintain, and grow existing and new industrial vendor relationships and dealer both retail and wholesale opportunities by meeting quota of new business volume (>$75.00MM) and other targets. These relationships will ultimately result in generating profitable finance transactions that produce new business volume. This person is point of contact to the vendor, therefore responsible for all aspects of the vendor business. They're also responsible for assisting the regional reps with closing some business and being a relationship hand-off to our business development rep.

Along with their sales reps, this role delivers routine and non-routine creative established solutions to vendors by assessing and understanding the scope of their project and offering the appropriate financing for their needs, ensuring all credit decisions and application processing programs provide value for both dealers and the Bank. The business is focused upon supporting Dealer and National Account relationships in the Industrial Equipment Leasing market segment (construction and material handling). The ideal candidate would be located either remotely, or preferably in Jacksonville office.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prospecting, qualifying and closing transactions within the industrial sector, working with manufacturers, vendor and end user customers.
  • Develop, implement and maintain sales plan to meet/exceed assigned sales & margin quotas including strategies to grow existing wholesale accounts and develop and retain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Pro-actively offer financing products to vendors in assigned (drive/maximize volume/increase penetration) area.
  • Target, qualify, and close finance transactions via telephone.
  • Complete an appropriate number of outbound customer/prospect contacts (both warm and cold), adding or updating the opportunities and leads in Salesforce, providing high-quality customer service/prospect interactions, and upholds standards for the minimum number of calls and per day.
  • Representative will be spending time both in the office, visiting key wholesale relationships, and trade shows.
  • Works both externally and internally to key stakeholders to achieve business related goals.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Commercial Banking

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Commercial Banking

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Creditable experience in construction, manufacturing, and/or material handling
  • Experience in sales techniques (effective needs analysis, negotiation, and closing) and understanding of account management concepts and tactics
  • Exceptional ability to develop and cultivate strategic relationships
  • Experience in the Leasing Industry, with knowledge of finance transactions including pricing, credit, and documentation (program and dealer agreements)
  • Knowledge or experience using CRM (such as Salesforce) and well versed with MS Office Suite
  • Strong presentation, organization, problem-solving, time management and follow up skills
  • The ability to work independently but also demonstrate performance in a team setting, and work with both internal/external partner (all levels) to achieve results
  • Flexible with ability to travel

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $100,000 - $140,000 per year.

Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
